Publisher's Description of AGON: The Mysterious Codex (London)

" Join Professor Samuel Hunt, a scientist of the British Museum, as you venture forth into strange places and solve the most unusual mysteries. "
- From Private Moon Studios

AGON is a peculiar and mysterious story about a certain Professor Samuel Hunt. The story itself unfolds in a series of adventure episodes and locations.

AGON: The Mysterious Codex collects three episodes of the renowned adventure series. In this download, you'll join Professor Samuel Hunt, as you venture forth into strange places in London and solve the most unusual mysteries.

The London Scene
One day he receives a letter which contains vague allusions to a geometric drawing currently to be found in the storage rooms of the British Museum and its role in showing directions, to 12 secret destinations and some kind of enormous treasure that has to do with the manuscript attached to the letter.

In addition, the text of the manuscript is even more confusing: it speaks about a journey, but it also makes reference to a certain demon called the Black King, and forgotten board games. Besides, it mentions some dark Secret which may be revealed sometime but which would be better to forget, and a strange password that opens the doors to the secret: "I am in search of the AGON".

The information, which the professor finds rather exciting, makes him go and look for the drawing mentioned in the letter at once, and to try clarify some details of what certainly promises to be a grand discovery. However, it is night and at this time of the day, the museum is silent and keeps the information behind looked doors. Our hero starts conversation with a guy called Swanson responsible for guarding, the storage rooms at night. He does little, but furthers the exploration nevertheless. Professor Hunt has to use a trick to get into his friend and colleagues, Dr. Thomas Smythe's room, whom he manages to phone. He also enters the director's office, to get closer to the solution...

AGON: The Mysterious Codes
Our hero, a middle-aged professor from the British Museum, embarks on a journey after finding a mysterious letter, a few torn codex pages and an unknown artifact.

His travels take him to 12 corners of the world, where he has to rediscover long-forgotten board games, and has to remove the curse of the families who guard them. Finding the keepers of the games, and the rules is not an easy task, but the facts that come into his possession in the process suggest a legend of horrible doom, and by this knowledge his original goals are questioned.

Throughout a journey around the world, stretching for several years, stories and adventures interlace and gradually a curious world concept takes shape: we, humans, exist merely as figures on the game board of two conflicting supernatural forces. Our struggles, victories and losses all feed into the energy of the two Players of the Universe. Those who compete are not unconquerable, however. Neither are the Players of the Universe. They would do anything in order to overthrow one another. To achieve this, every now and again, they are to enter into an alliance even the the figures on the game board, humans...
