Publisher's Description:
Deep Purple Chess is a new human player against computer AI chess game. Unlike many other poor looking chess programs with user-unfriendly interfaces, Deep Purple Chess has not only a fully intuitive and real live like interface, it also features a stronger AI than many "Fun-Chess Games". Using a ply-2 depth full width exploration method that consists of material assessment and positional monocriterion decision heuristics, this AI can offer a playing strength of up to 1000 Elo, which is enough for most beginners and chess novices. This chess AI will probably not beat Mr. Kasparov or any other genious chess player, but it is surely clever enough to be a training application for most beginners. Its simple Interface makes it an easy to use and out of the box ready game for people from 5 to 105 years.
