Xitex WebContent M1 is a perfect WCM solution for any small- and mid-sized company. It's a low-cost out-of-the-box browser-based Web Content Management System. The product supports easy contribution and management of all types of enterprise's content, whether its documents, web content, images, or rich media. Content can be created in familiar programs such as Microsoft Word, or uploaded from directly within Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Xitex WebContent M1 interface is constructed especially for MS Windows familiar users, so it does not require any training. Everybody can feel free using this powerful system after 1-2 hours of work with it.
Product provides any user with a full range of edition and design construction tools, such as WYSIWYG-editor, handy Tag editor, pluggable modules of forums, questionnaires, newslines, search tools etc. Besides, it allows avoiding any broken links and images, pages scheduling, content approval before publishing, check-in/check-out in order to prevent collisions, restoring previous versions of content and many other useful features. Moreover, content never changes on a live site; it can be published when the whole changes are done. Site administrators are provided with a complex statistics of all visits and users' actions. Besides, they are empowered to execute rights management of all users (creation, edition and publishing content and design) and visitors (access to "member zone").
As Xitex WebContent M1 is template based it performs separation the whole content from site design. The product is very scalable. It also allows uploading design templates prepared in any Desktop Publishing System such as Macromedia Dreamweaver in one click.
